Cylinders
Repair
Restore cylinders to factory dimensions using cold metallization or interference lining. Metallization occurs in a controlled-atmosphere chamber, followed by machining, grinding, and hydraulic testing to ensure quality.
Jacketing
Return jacketed cylinders to “as-new” integrity through interference-fit application, machining, and finishing to original tolerances.
Pockets
Rebuild space variators using original spare kits, disassembly, and manufacturing new rods and pistons when needed to restore full functionality and sealing.

The valves are individually designed to suit the operating conditions of each compressor.With the supervision of our Engineering Department, we can recommend, design, and adapt valves for any type of gas, service condition, and operation.Valves are the "heart" of the compressor. They are the part that, measured in operating hours, causes the most failures in compressor operation, and in many cases act as a fuse for other problems.The right choice is essential to ensure the best compressor performance and a long service life with minimal failure rates.
Repair
We repair all types of valves for reciprocating gas, air, and process compressors, following international standards and using imported spare parts of certified quality.We have qualified personnel, machinery, and an adequate stock of thermoplastic plates and blanks, as well as high-performance steels, parts, and springs to provide you with a quick response at the best prices. Patagonia 360º is an authorized representative of Cook Manley® in Argentina and Chile. We have access to all of the brand's products, including Moppet® valves, concentric radial ring valves, CVE valve plates, Rebecca® gas engine injector valves, capacity controls (unloaders), and HSR safety adjusters for valves.
Pistons
Manufacturing
We manufacture different types of pistons for compressors according to the application, in nodular cast iron, aluminum, and steel, integral, segmented, or tandem pistons for single or double action in lubricated or non-lubricated service, for use with guide rings, for horizontal, inclined, or vertical cylinders. We also develop ring bushings to recover pistons with out-of-spec housings.
Piston rings
We offer piston rings for multiple applications and in a wide variety of materials. We manufacture guide and compression rings in Teflon with different loads, GR12, micarta, metal, etc., with or without expanders.We develop rings for every type of operation and calculate passages for non-lubricated service using cutting-edge, high-performance compounds.Our Engineering Department can assess your current operating conditions and recommend the appropriate design to extend the life and performance of the rings.

Manufacturing
We manufacture all types of rods for compressors and reciprocating pumps in steels ranging from SAE 4140 to special stainless steels, with surface hardening treatments, either induction hardening or nitriding, in the working area of the gaskets to achieve a surface hardness greater than 50 HRc.
In all cases, they feature high tensile strength rolled threads. All our products meet the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API).Metallization
Cold metallization restoration gives thousands of hours of useful life back to pump shafts and spindles that were destined for scrap.
This metallization system guarantees perfect adhesion and, as it is a non-thermal process, it maintains the properties and ductility of the base material unchanged, restoring original dimensions and surface hardness in some cases greater than the new part, depending on the filler material chosen.Rolled Threads
The high-end rods manufactured by Patagonia|360º are delivered with rolled threads. This type of thread is formed cold by compressing a series of rollers onto the rod. Pressures of 40 tons overcome the resistance of the material and form a thread that is several times stronger than traditional threads obtained by cutting. The vertical channels generated by the cutting stress in common threads are eliminated, and a much higher quality finish is achieved.

Gaskets & Oil Scrapers
We supply gaskets and oil scraper rings for a wide variety of compressors, in different thermoplastic compounds and metals according to your operational requirements, for lubricated or non-lubricated services.
There are a wide variety of designs depending on your application, including milled, smooth, metal, thermoplastic, with springs that fit around the stem, closed ring, to minimize the space between the stem and the packing box.The main or most commonly used are pressure relief rings, radial rings, tangential rings, backup rings, oil scrapers, etc.Packing case repair
We repair packing boxes of different sizes by machining, grinding, and lapping the cups and flanges to maintain the original measurements and prevent deformation or breakage of the packings.If necessary, we manufacture complete cups or boxes using top-quality steel and cutting-edge processes.
Babbit filler
We restore new crossheads by cold welding a special anti-friction alloy for lubricated services based on tin (84%), copper (8%), and antimony (8%) for applications in bearings and crossheads for high-speed and heavy-duty service. This material is called Babbitt or white metal. We also restore crosshead bolts made of steel or tungsten carbide.

Metallization | Cold welding
Scope
Cold metallization or cold welding has the particularity of superficially reconstituting different types of mechanical parts, allowing those that were practically on their way to becoming waste material due to advanced surface wear to be reused.Shafts, axles, crankshafts, rotors, pump impellers, crossheads, bolts, mandrels, conveyors, drilling tools, drive shafts, bearings, and countless other applications can be recovered through cold welding, resulting in significant savings compared to purchasing a new part, manufacturing it, or importing it, with the costs and delays that this usually entails.

Very good resistance to wear and corrosion. For hard coating applications

Process
Metallization or cold welding is a physical process in which the mechanical part to be metallized receives a new metal layer on its surface to restore its dimensions and hardness.
The hardness properties depend on the type of alloy used, according to the mechanical stresses that the part will undergo during its useful life.
The materials used guarantee total bonding between the base part and the coating, achieving excellent tear and friction resistance values.
